Alex Jessey Continues to Break Records and Rearrange Record Books
Alex Jessey opened up his Senior campaign with two outstanding performances moving him into the All-Time Career Goals leader for Providence Day Boys Lacrosse, with 199 career goals (16 goals this season) and a full season ahead to extend his lead.
Wednesday, Feb. 28th the Chargers opened up the 2024 season against Legion Collegiate from Rock Hill, SC, in Overcash Stadium. Alex would come out firing on all cylinders, only needing 6 goals to surpass his brother Cole Jessey ’21 at top of the Career Goals leaderboard. Jessey would score 7 goals on the evening bringing his career total to 190. Alex followed this performance up with 9 goals on Friday, March 1st against public rival Marvin Ridge HS. Alex now sits at 199 career goals and counting with a full Senior season ahead of him.
Future Chargers will be looking up at Alex on the records list, be it single season or career numbers. Jessey now holds every major offensive statistical record for the Chargers. 345 Career Points… and counting 199 Career Goals… and counting 146 Career Assist… and counting
